On February 14-16, 2013 Krasnoyarsk will hold the Xth Forum supported by the Government of the Russian Federation, the RF Ministry of Economic Development, the RF Ministry of Regional Development and the Government of Krasnoyarsky kray.The participants will discuss strategic initiatives aimed at promoting socioeconomic development of the country until 2018, new models of economic growth determining institutional changes and improving the standards of living. Particular focus will be made on analyzing the contribution of the regions towards modernization of national economy, debating the development prospects of Siberia and Far East, as well as assessing Russia’s involvement in the global economic chain of “digital economy”.
The forum is among three top national events designated for discussing practical solutions for economy, development and innovations. In 2012, more than 2,500 participants from over 40 Russian regions and 28 countries attended the event. As a result, 17 agreements with leading global companies, banks and development institutions were signed and amounted to 530 billion rubles. Over 40 business events took place. The participants paid special attention to the exhibition “Investments, innovations, infrastructure. The future of Siberia”.
The Xth Forum will traditionally bring together the representatives of the Russian Government, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, executive branch, including the Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Siberian Federal District, regional authorities, development institutions and state corporations, business community, leading Russian and foreign experts.
