Good idea Slick UI and good idea, but it would be handy if you could scan the produce as you put it into the fridge/freezer, maybe using barcode scanner or google goggles or something. Also, if it could work out what you normally buy and produce a shopping list say for ad hoc shopping and weekly shop? I use Ocado for internet shopping which is Uk so i doubt it's worth integrating directly into that but it would be neat to be able to buy the goods online? Build this directly into the fridge then you're talking!
