Simple tool for calculating moon phase for any given date. Nice 3D graphics instead of unnecessary numbers. Designed for hi-end devices including tablets.Features:
- Visual display of the current moon phase
- Dates of the next syzygies (new moon and full moon)
- Select date in the past or future
- Traditional names for each full moon of the year in full moon calendar
- Choose Northern or Southern Hemisphere
- Exploration mode: you can rotate and zoom spherical model of the moon
- Can be installed onto SD card

Awesome Upgraded from free version. This one has more phase descriptions and runs more smoothly. Thanks for the option to turn off "glow", looks more realistic with it off. A higher resolution 3D image would be cool.

NON-FUNCTIONAL as of 1/2/2012 NOT Now, but once was: "A well done, beautifully designed piece of functional artwork (Moon 3D Free) caused me to buy this App, mainly to encourage the artist(s?) to continue

Widget worked, but app never comes up when called. Going back to free app. LG Optimus S.

Nice enhancements This is a good enhancement. Especially on my Xoom! One wish: a widget twice as big for my tablet. :-)

Nicely done. Widget is slightly larger and you can toggle glow setting on/off. Glad to support dev. on job well done. !! D2
