This application is about empowering the CCW (concealed or open carry permit) holder (or anyone who wishes to lawfully transport a firearm in any state.) It gives you the direct information that you need to follow the maze of arcane, complicated, and dissimilar laws in each state and in each situation. It provides all this information with an easy-to-use User Interface.UNIQUE: This application comes with a convenient map, useful in planning a trip. Choose (and save) your current permit or permits (both Resident and Non-Resident) to see which states recognize YOUR permits. Shows a map (and list) of States in which YOU, specifically, can legally carry. See, at a glance, states in which to plan your next vacation, or plan your interstate-travel to avoid locations where you cannot carry. Type in & save details and notes for each permit.
This application puts all the power in your hands. You can easily access and review the relevant firearm laws and prohibitions for every state. This app shows you the actual laws, so you do not have to rely on someone else’s interpretation. Find the prohibited locations, transportation rules, permit process, and more for every state! Also provides direct links to the laws themselves, so you can research any open questions. It includes the pertinent federal laws. For specific locations (such as restaurants serving alcohol), see the quick allowed status, as well as click for details and laws. Also includes "duty to notify" laws for each state(when available) for contact with a police officer, such as a traffic stop. The key information does not require internet connection; it’s located right on your phone!

Gaps Though the program looks okay, and may meet many needs there are many gaps when it comes to links. There are other programs at lower cost which do the same thing. These programs are updated faster. I am also concerned with privacy issues. It allows storage of CCW info which is good, but fails to state what, if any, security exists to protect it. GPS data perhaps could be coopted thus limiting it's usefulness. Therefore it earns a lower rating.

Lacking the most important...... .......thing! If you can't carry in a given state, what are the laws for transporting in your vehicle? Nothing in this app, that I have found, informs people of what to do with their sidearm in this case.

OK but...... Ok but needs updated to reflect current changes in the Ohio laws. If you are going to supply an app like this, need to keep it updated.

Very informative Biggest issue is it doesn't really analyze the laws state by state like the description states. It does however give you the information you need to get by quickly and to the point. Just make sure if there is anything in doubt you still go to the state in questions government website and try to make sure before you go...

Very good The one item missing is a trip planner that allows us to select where we're going and show more/less gun friendly states along the way. Would also be nice if we could take pic of our licenses and the ability to store NRA/USCCA membership data.
