Evo 4g I have the full version for almost a yr. and it does what it says. I would say 95% accurate. On funky cards about 85-90%

Trial Version limitation is a PAIN! I'm looking for a serious, quality, reliable and easy to use Business Card Reader for my work. Of course, when I find the best one for my needs, I'll buy a full version, because it's not a lot of money if it works properly. Sooo, at the moment, I'm in the process of testing all the likely contenders. That's where ScanCard BCR really falls down. I don't care in the slightest if the Demo/Trial version doesn't allow me to save a single contact, so long as I can see what it would save if it was the full version. That's the basis for testing, I would think. But I'm just not interested in having to pay for something just so I can test it for a few minutes before I have to apply for a refund if it doesn't look good at first glance. That's why I'm not going to bother testing WorldCard. So, I installed ScanCard Lite. It looked quite good, on first test. But then, I made the mistake of closing it and trying another app. Now, I can't use it in Demo mode at all. Whatever I do, all I get is the Nag screen, and can no longer test it. Even uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't allow me to continue testing. So, effectively, I can't test it any further. That's very disappointing, hence 3/5.

Yes. Try setting it to Macro mode. But it is also sometimes impossible to get the perfect conditions for quality picture scanning - which depends on factors like character definition, color contrast, luminosity and even camera cleanliness. Maybe the pic was taken under not so ideal lighting circumstances?

I downloaded the trial version. It is impossible to focus well on the businesscards with my Galaxy S9000. This results in blur images impossible to convert. Mayby the integrated camera should be set to 'macro' upon starting the app.
