Description
Root FTP Server enables you to access your file system over WiFi or USB. Unlike other similar products, it will let you make changes to any part of your device, for example to your data or system folder. You can of course access your SD card.You have to have a ROOTED device!

• access hidden files (starting with '.') - you have to use better ftp client (e.g. Total Commander of FileZilla)

Important:
If your connection to the ftp server drops after a while, you probably have a power-saving policy in your wifi settings. To avoid this issue follow the steps:
* Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings
* Tap the menu button and select Advanced
* In the Wi-Fi sleep policy entry select Never

Excellent app, does what it says!! :) I will reccomend this to a lot of my friends, they wanted something just like this. And this totally works. I love how easy it is, only if you read and figure it out. then its pretty basic. i tried to COPY all my system files to my computer to keep, i was doing some work w/ them to try something out and it gave me an error of copying all of them, but when I copied 4 at a time, it worked. I would love it, if you could make it where you could password protect the FTP server, that would be great. Thanks a lot DEV for you hard work, and awesome app. worth $4.99. This is the only app on market, that I have found that will actually copy system files of the phone to computer, no other ones will that i found. i couldn't do it w/ Root Explorer or any others. thanks again :) ~Rooted Samsung Exhibit II 4g

Worked Great on my Xoom I have a rooted Xoom Wifi with ICS. This software has worked both with WiFi and USB transfers, great app, easy to use. Note @Dev, please be more explicit in the Market about requiring some extra files to be downloaded from your website. I have no issues with this, but many could find this confusing.

The Only One That Got Access to My Actual SD Card This works. I have a rooted Captivate running Cyanogen 7. For long time, I've been wanted to transfer files wirelessly. I tried maybe 6 other apps before this Root FTP Server, but none of them could access my external SD Card which is where I store my mp3s and videos. This app however, go in effortlessly and is worth every penny.
