But what if it's the weekend and everyone's away from their computer partying? Stay assured - you're weekend won't be ruined. Now with Drinkspiration by Absolut, you can pull out your nifty Android phone at any time and have access to over 400 cocktail recipes on the go.

If I was forced to test every one of the 400 cocktail mixes for this report, I would be lying passed out on the floor right now in a sorry yet blissful state. Thankfully for me and my liver, I'm sticking to the technical aspects of this app.
Using this app is a real piece of cake, so let's go straight to all the available functions. Depending on your personal tastes, you have the option of finding your favorite drink by browsing through the extensive selection of cocktail categories.

This category selection is really amazing, especially the "recommend a drink by my location" feature. Using the phone's GPS signals or Wi-FI connection, the app looks for drinks specific to your area. The epitome of cool is the app's "recommend a drink by background volume" feature, which evaluates the volume of your surroundings with the phone's built-in mic and then recommends some fitting drinks for the ambiance. How sweet is that?!
By clicking on the "I'll have one button" below your selected drink, you can update your Facebook or Twitter status. Let the whole world know what drink you'r enjoying right now! In your settings, you can always adjust your Facebook and Twitter log in information as well toggle the sound.
A simple click on any cocktail reveals its detailed recipe with all the necessary ingredients.
With the "World" tab you can see what drinks people are enjoying live around the globe.
The search function is also totally flawless. You can search using key or simply browse by categories.

Amazing app for cocktail lovers! It's good to see that they've gone way beyond vodka, to include every type of liquor known to man. Everyone's guaranteed to find something to suit his or her taste.

Despite its 9MB size and the fancy graphics, this app manages to run pretty smoothly. Older Android models may, however, experience some difficulties loading this app.
With the latest updated version of this app, I didn't experience a single glitch.

drinkspiration love it! i like that it has so many different options for choosing a drink cause some times you just dont know what to get. i like that it is an absolute app yet there are other spirits listed! i would like it better if it had a section where you could add your own drinks as well, but still the best app ive seen - great graphics and user friendly. - evo4g

Useless Apparently, my date of birth which is in 1980 makes me under 21 and too young to use this app, not 31. Even if I enter 1900 I am still under legal age? Useless.

Awful. Just turned 31, and it said I'm not over 21. Plus it froze a few times before I could even input my bday. Samsung captivate
