Bonsai Blast is a nice game to pass the time, even it lacks a cool background story. Similarly to Connect Four, your objective is to make combinations of colored marbles disappear like in Tetris – and all of this before the marbles fall into the abyss at the end of the trail.
First Impression: A mix of Tetris and Connect Four
As a player, you’re in control of a marble-shooting turret that shoots in the direction of a moving row of colored marbles. Your goal is to arrange marbles of the same color in rows of three or more, which makes them automatically disappear. The more same-colored marbles you can align in single file, the more points you collect. As soon as at least one marble reaches the hole marked with a ying-yang symol, you’re entire trail of marbles goes down the drain.
The graphics are good enough for this type of game. Every now and then, cherry blossoms drift slowly past the screen like in a Japanese garden – a nice little graphics feature, in my opinion.
The sound is very peaceful and relaxing, almost like in a Chinese meditation video. There’s no network mode available, but that’s not really necessary for a game like this one.
Bottom Line:
Bonsai Blast is a great little game, especially for all those long bus, subway or plane rides. It’s got all the features of your typical mobile game. Decide for yourself whether this game turns into a real addiction :)
The app is controlled through a central menu, where you can adjust the sound and vibration settings. During the game you can only direct the trajectory of your turret with your fingertip. On some levels you can also move your turret between several different marked spots.
The app loads quickly, despite a short developer splash screen at the start. No sign of any reliability issues during play time. No crashes or lag-time either.
Bonsai Blast is available for free from the Android Market.

definitely has a lot of levels availablе, so I had fun playing it....
I got a little stumped on a level in the second (afternoon) world.
but still haven't found a lot of better casual games on the market so far...
