Barrr - Ahoy, Matey!
Tested version: 1.1.4
Latest version: 2.5
Requires Android: from 1.5
Be in charge of your own pirate bar and make sure all your guests are having a good time. You can either tattoo some of the hardy shipmates or just serve them an ice cold beer to drink to keep them happy.
Don’t leave any of the customers disgruntled unless you want to face a really angry pirate!

Features & Use
Your bar is located on a picturesque beach in the South Pacific. You’re in charge of serving cold beer and other refreshments to your customers. But the bar has much more to offer than that…There’s also a tattoo parlor, an arcade and a stage where any guest can perform.
All in all, it’s a pretty weird place, which attracts really odd bunch of guests. All of your customers are pirates that express what they would like to order with the help of little speech bubbles containing symbols (beer, tattoos, bathroom etc.).
The pirate’s mood worsens the longer he has to wait for his order. You can tell any pirate’s mood by looking at the emotion points to the left of them. Cheerful mood is displayed by four green points, an OK disposition by three yellow points and gloomy mood by two red dots. With each new level the number of pirates entering your bar increases as well as the number of things available for them to do.
You have to manage your time with care in order to keep everyone satisfied.
I really like Barrr a lot. The game itself is a time-management game with a fun pirate-themed concept. The best part about this game is the look and feel of it.
Screen & Controls
Before you can start playing, you need to give yourself a catchy pirate name. The main menu appears shortly after displaying a small pirate behind a bar counter. All of the options are integrated into the start screen. Tapping the door, for example, quits the game. You can check out the highscore by clicking on a bowl on the counter. Press the beer mug in order to start the game. You can read over the detailed tutorial written in pirate lingo before getting started.
The controls are really simple:
First click on the pirate and then tap the place where he wishes to go. If your selection matches his order, a green checkmark appears.
At the top right of the screen you can see the remaining time and how much money you’ve earned so far. Once the time runs out, you find out whether you’ve earned enough money to make it to the next level. The levels unlock themselves automatically with a win.
If you need to pause the game, just press the menu button at any points. The same button also let’s you quit the game or adjust the sound.
As far as the design of Barrr is concerned, I was extremely impressed. It’s colorful and neat with a real love for detail. All the pirates are really cute and adorable.
Speed & Stability
Barrr takes a while to load in comparison to other games in the same category (I have a G1).
While trying to pause the game during the test, I pressed a wrong button, which made the entire game crash. When I attempted to restart the game, the loading screen froze. In the end, I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the game all over again, which made me really annoyed.
Barrr can be downloaded for free from the Android Market.
