Summary
Anyone who knows me will agree that I’m completely Google-crazy. I basically make use of every service Google offers, and I want to be able to use them on my phone as well, as you can imagine. I have an app for almost everything (except Google Wave), but was always on the lookout for something viable to use Google Bookmarks with. Is GoMarks the answer to my prayers?

First of all, GoMarks enables you to access your Google Bookmarks from your phone. You can access them easily, especially if you’ve been using tags. It isn’t possible to structure you bookmarks; they are displayed in the form of an alphabetical list which you have to scroll through to get to the one you want.
However, if you’ve been using tags these will be displayed in a convenient category list; you can access the different categories by clicking on them and then selecting the bookmark you’re after. The bookmark is then opened in the standard browser.
Not only does GoMarks enable you to access your bookmarks, it also synchronizes them with your Google Bookmarks. You can also set up new bookmarks which are then added to your Google Bookmarks.
The app has two main functions: allowing you to access as well as synchronizing your Google Bookmarks. It’s also possible to download Favicons – small website icons – which are displayed with the corresponding bookmark, and you can also choose between two themes (Black or Light).
Bottom line:
I’ve been waiting for this app. I can finally access my Google Bookmarks from my phone, as well as set up new bookmarks that I can then access from my computer. Not bad!

After GoMarks has started up you have to enter your Google login data; the first Full Sync will then begin. There are two types of synchronizations: Full Sync and Fast Sync, although I have to confess that I don’t quite see what the difference between the two functions is. There’s no help button and no app website that explains what the difference is. I generally used Full Sync during the testing period, and it worked really well for me.
Once the first sync is completed you’ll be able to see your Google Bookmarks and can access them within GoMarks by clicking on them. If you click on a bookmark for a long time the following options will appear:

Edit lets you change the name and tag of a bookmark, as well as add notes or, if the bookmark already has notes, to change these notes. You can save or cancel the changes you make by pressing one of the two buttons – Save or Cancel – at the bottom of the display.
You can see options related to your tags within the main display. Click on a tag (a category) for a long time and the following options will appear:

If you want to Add a bookmark simply enter the URL, name, a tag, and notes (if you want to). One of the most useful features is that you can forward bookmarks so that they become part of your Google Bookmarks. In order to do so, select GoMarks in the menu, enter a name, tag, and notes and save the bookmark.
You can switch both options for synchronizing on or off under Settings, as well as set up an interval for automatic synching. You can also decide whether the Favicon should be downloaded each time you sync new bookmarks, and also select which theme (Black or Light) you want to use. Finally, you can create a name for the Default Label.
Bottom line:
One could say that not being able to sort the bookmarks is a small drawback. However, it is possible to display them according to alphabet or date within the browser. Therefore, anyone using Google Bookmarks should be pretty happy with this app.

Unstable Like the app but I'm getting force closures even when I'm not using it. Still usable but it's getting really annoying. Android 2.3.7 CM7 nook

Force closes a lot & data hog Keeps force closing all the time, even when I'm not interacting with it (and haven't for hours or days). Has consumed 2.88 GB of data in 11 days. Very broken.

Bleh Logs in but sync fails and force closes many times per day. 'Gbookmark' app seems to work good. Switching to that.

Working again Syncing on my bionic, really missed this app. Don't know why Google doesn't have mobile bookmarks.

Perfectly simple. gMarks stopped working, so I tried this one. I'm now able to view and edit my Google Bookmarks in a simple and easy to use list. Thanks for the free app!

Excellent Very good app indeed, makes up for the fact that the Google Bookmarks site has a bizarre lack of mobile-view. Very very easy to use, syncs quickly. All round, an excellent app.

Force close every time App force closes every time I run. Pretty useless. Maybe they will fix?
@Jano that only shows you whats on your phone, but won't sync with google bookmarks
