This game is sure to be a hit with anyone who’s familiar with / and a fan of Angry Birds, especially if you’ve made it through all the Angry Birds levels.
Try to knock down the green blocks by using a sort of catapult and make sure you leave the red blocks standing—sounds like child’s play? Well, sometimes what sounds like it’ll be a walk in the park turns out to be challenging and – sometimes – frustrating.

There are different levels in this game: if you make it through one level, you’re free to move on to the next. The whole thing is divided up into four worlds or games segments. Only the first world is available in the lite version.
This game keeps getting harder and harder: you start off with a brief tutorial minus the red blocks and other obstacles, but then it keeps getting tougher. You can choose between three different stones for each different level.
There are three types of stones:
• A small stone that doesn’t use a lot of energy and deducts five point
• A middle sized stone that’s suitable for most scenarios and deducts 10 points
• A big stone that can be tricky to maneuver and deducts 20 points
The goal is to reach 100 points. If you get a higher score you’re rating is better.
In addition to the actual game Moblox also has Achievements via OpenFeint (a new Android achievement & highscore platform, some of you may know if from the iPhone). An Achievement example: “Negative winner”; in order to deserve this noble title you have to score -50 points.
The game doesn’t come with a lot of adjustable settings, and most of the ones it does have are related to sound and the graphics quality. You can also export your achievements and progress reports to your SD. This can be very useful if you’re looking to import your achievements from the lite version to the full version.
The game’s graphics and design are really nice and come across just as professional as in iPhone games.
There are easy-to-follow and thorough instructions related to controls and gameplay at the start of the game. If you’re already familiar with Angry Birds then you’re familiar with the way you have to shoot the stones at the blocks.
Moblox’s levels are diversified and some of them give pause to think about how you’re going to go about cracking them. We like that!
It’s easy to navigate around using the menus.
I also appreciate the fact that the tutorial is interactive, which means you don’t have to sit through a lecture session.
The game runs really smoothly on high-end devices; that being said, my jury’s out on how it performs on a G1, seeing as I tested it on a Nexus One / Android 2.2.
The game crashed once, but I couldn’t make out due to what.
The lite version and its 30 levels is available for free from the Android Market.
The full version costs 1,99 €.
