Add a frame and your best wishes for a happy new year and your season’s greetings card is ready to be sent off by email. Photoid PRO provides you with a bunch of features and effects that will help you turn your pictures into anything you like.

Choose a picture from the gallery, take a photo using your camera app, or select one from you Facebook or Flickr account. You have to grant Photoid access to your Facebook account; you can then either pick one of your own pictures or browse through your friends’ albums and select one from there.
Photoid PRO comes with a wide selection of effects, stickers, frames, speech bubbles, and text effects; there’s something for every occasion. If you’re looking to adorn your photo with a matching frame you can select one from the following categories:
• Christmas
• Love
• Baby
• Celebration
• Friends
• Simple
• Other
• Thanksgiving
Around this time of year you might (still) be looking to add a red hat and bear—not a problem, that’s where the stickers come in. The selection really isn’t anything to sneeze at. There are also masks and glasses, pig’s nose, smooch mouths, or a second pair of eyes looming on top of the eyebrows.
There are lots of text effects as well as a preview function which is pretty convenient as it helps avoid too many failed attempts. Image effects range from “stretch” to Pop Art à la Andy Warhol. And yes, never fear, the app also comes with the infamous “fish eye” effect. After you use an effect you can set the app back to the way it was.
The size of your image isn’t quite right? You can alter it or cut out elements you rather not share with the world. You can also reset the image in 90°-steps.
But what’s the use of going to all the trouble of creating these small works of art if no one’s ever going to get to see them? That’s where the share function comes in: upload the iamge to the gallery, post it on your Facebook wall, add it to Flickr, or send it in an email via Bluetooth. All these options work really well. If you want to post the image on your wall it gets uploaded by an external server and then linked to your wall.
It’s also possible to save your creation to your SD card and set it as your background image. The only thing missing is an option that enables you to use the image as your profile picture.

Bottom line:
Photoid PRO is good fun and the possibilities are basically endless, seeing as the selection of frames, effects, stickers, etc. is enormous. It’s a great party app because controls are so easy and the Facebook connection is good.
Screen & Controls

Photoid PRO’s controls are easy and well thought-out. Menu button? Nope, doesn’t need one. Everything you need fits right onto the screen, which means you don’t have to search for functions. Everything regarding editing the images works really well, for instance, you can change the size of stickers to fit the image or adjust the photo so that it fits into the frame just right.

Great app! Lots of fun & provides lots of diff things u can do. Note: w/ frames, wish u could rotate pic arbitrarily, not only 90° at a time
