App: Usable as of Android 1.6 – Authorizations: Locations, Bluetooth, internet access, SD card writable/readable, take photos, phone status readable and identifiable, change systems settings, change APN settings, change Wlan status, change sync settings
This might look like a pretty hefty amount but the app uses each single one. I doubt it would use the information for anything dodgy…but you have to be the better judge of that for yourselves!
Elixir is a systems and configurations tool which you can use to attain more information concerning hardware, software, and current general state of your device, as well as make a few changes to settings. The coolest thing about this app are the widgets, however. These can be used to do everything the app has to offer from the comfort of your own homescreen.

Everything was done right when it comes to Elixir’s controls. There are three tabs at the top of the display, one for each of the three categories of information: general information, sensors, and active apps and services (divided into two sub-categories/tabs).
Speed & Stability

I can’t say that I was particularly bothered by anything related to speed or stability, but Elixir does sometimes have a tendency to lag which is apparently down to bugs, seeing as the lagging always occurred at the same places. It also takes a while for the widget data to load…but presumably that’s unavoidable.
Price/Performance Ratio

Nothing to whine about here! For free and packed with lots of functions—a well deserved five stars for Elixir.

Meio bom, meio exagerado. DEIXA O CELULAR LENTO! Não e tão completo quanto fala. Poucos apps detectaram e informaram a resolução do meu aparelho em pixels (qualidade na tela) e a velocidade do meu cpu em Mhz. (Este não faz nenhum destes 2). _ O que gostei dele: Criar uma linha 4x1 que contem 7 ícones (miniaturizadas). Usei o toggle de modo avião, quando minha noiva fica me infernizando ligando a cada 30 segundos, modo avião nela. _ Usei o contador de tráfego de dados via 3g e via WiFi, usei o contador de Aps abertas. _ Aviso: *** DEIXOU MEU CELULAR BEM MAIS LENTO SIM ***. Nítidamente e pulou o uso da CPU% para 99% toda hora. ___. E no gerenciador de aplicativos em execução, esta é a que gasta mais memória 20 mega. Coisa que nem meus live wallpapers 3d fazem, chegando a apenas 10mb. A hora que eu quiser meu celular mais rápido, deleto esta app. **DELETEI!** - celular voltou a ficar rápido e uso da ram-CPU% com live wallpaper 3d, saiu do 99% e voltou para 65%. E quando desinstalar, sobram umas pastas perdidas para deletar depois.

Great, though confusing I originally wrote a review for this when I really meant to review Elixir 2. Between this, E2 and Elixir Widgets, I'm a bit confused. Would be easier if all features were rolled up into one app. Otherwise, I keep this one for the cache cleaning widget not available in the other versions.

Samsung galaxy s3 One of the best apps but!!!! It put a bug on my phone!!! My phone never worked the same again!! Thank god I hade still 2 weeks left and got a new phone :(

Use it all the time Love the widget and convenience of quickly seeing how much battery and cpu have been used or are left.

Very Helpful App..... Just FYI.... I "tried" to use this app with GoSMSPro... when you make a contact shortcut in Elixir,and click over to use GoSMSPro,it uses the "default" theme setting.It will not use individual settings for contacts.If you happen to get individual settings to work,it works for a short time.Then when you click on the contact from GoSMSPro,the theme setting is stuck on default theme settings.You then have to restore your GoSMSPro settings.
