Summary

Hey—does the following sound familiar at all? You’re running around all day like a headless chicken, trying to get everything down, and you lose perspective of everything on your to-do list. This can often result in putting things off till the next day. Do it (Tomorrow) is a to-do list that lets you jot things down in a notebook, and whenever you don’t manage to get something down the task gets shifted to the following day.

Features & Use

Section rating:

Test device: LG Optimus Black
Android version: 2.2.2
Root: No
Modifications: No

Do it (Tomorrow) is a cute, simple little app that helps you remember and organize what tasks you have. As the name implies, it gives you the option of taking notes of things you have coming up for the next day, as well as shifting chores from one day to the following one. Whenever you’ve taken care of a task you can erase it with a simple swipe of your finger.

The Do it (Tomorrow) design is very reminiscent of a real notebook—you know, the classic kind with a cover and pages in it and stuff. Think Moleskine. The UI looks like two pages of a notebook, one for today and one for tomorrow, making it easy to switch from one day to the next.

Hit ‘Add a new task’ whenever you need to add something to your list, and press the arrow if you want to shift a task to the next day. Just tap the task if you want to erase it, or hit ‘edit’ if you need to make any changes.

Do it (Tomorrow) can also be synced with your to-do list, meaning you can access it from other devices. This can be convenient if you need to organize chores in a family home. In order to sync the to-do list you must enter your email address and password. The same email address and password have to be used on every device with which you wish to access the list.

Keeping in tune with the classic notebook look of the app, you can also select which font you want to use, one of them being a handwriting style font.

Bottom line:
Do it (Tomorrow) is super convenient and easy to use. I like that the app is kept simple and to the point—it means you won’t waste time learning how to use the darn thing, which is what the app is all about: helping you save time and stay organized and on top of things.
Two options that (I feel) are missing is the possibility to sub-categories tasks and add times to tasks, like if you have an appointment, for instance.

Screen & Controls

Section rating:

Do it (Tomorrow) controls are simple, making the app really easy to use. Nothing fancy, no confusing elements, just a well running application that does what it promises to do.

The design is great and somewhat nostalgic of Ye Olde Days of Pen ‘N’ Paper, complete with coffee rings

Speed & Stability

Section rating:

Do it (Tomorrow) performs well overall—no crashing.

Price/Performance Ratio

Section rating:

Do it (Tomorrow) is available for free from the Android Market. While it’s a useful tool, we’re knocking off a few points because of what we feel are relatively important missing functions (see the Features & Use section).

Great idea, decent execution. Dead simple to learn, looks great, works as advertised. Good for lists of short tasks, errands, &c. Not so great for far-off or recurring tasks. Animations aren't super smooth, though. Wish it had a landscape view (for tablets, maybe) to see today and tomorrow at the same time.

Great - sync not functioning Basically ideal for a scatterbrain listmaker like myself. Having major issues with Adylitica sync - moto xoom rotates screen and crash/restarts, X10i just crashes, and PC throws an error. Still pretty damned awesome, but sync would make it much better! :-P

No Google tasks sync :(

Simple, bu not too simple... Simple approach and right to the point...but designed with the simplicity in mind, so the whole thing works nicely. Will probably suffice for most people who are looking simply for a way to keep track of their tasks, without having to organizing them. One problem...the widget frequently fails to refresh properly, so you have to open the app to get the widget to display Today's tasks.

Crosses off the wrong item If I try to cross off or move an item it always picks the wrong one. Seeing as it's all this app needs to be able to do it's pretty poor.

Fantastic app that is simple and helps my daily life Fantastic app. Very simple, no unnecessay features that make it complex. It forces me to go through all my actions every day and to decide what I do today and what I push out to tomorrow/another day.

Nice app. Works great.

Why does this need tovbe stored in internal phone memory? The Samsung Galaxy Ace has almost no internal memory which makes it hard for me to keep this app installed. Why can't it be stored on the SD card? Please change that!

Simple. Exactly what I want from a good list This to do list is the best I have found. I was using wunderlist, which is a great full featured amazing do all to do list. However, I really didn't like all of that nonsense. I just wanted a single list that was easy to edit and looked nice. Do it tomorrow is all that. I would give the app itself a five star review for being perfectly realized, however I like to use the widget which falls too far short of perfect. The widget is only good for reading your tasks, not editing or adding them.

Galaxy s3 I absolutely love this app! I have yet to find another as simple and helpful as this

Optimize for jelly bean pls Very good app and easy to use, only suggestion pls optimize for nexus 7 page scrolling is not buttery smooth as rest of the is. Also add options for adding reminder would be awesome, don't forget to make the interface fun to use. The interface should be easy to use and eyecandy, that is where most of the android Dev fail. However this is exceptional keep it up.

Cheaper options Good app. But not paying for widget apps when the app called Mananna offers it all for free. Sorry. Economy is tough.
Lee, Jul 28, 2012
Love it! Simple and easy to use. Just make your todo list then cross off what you got done. If you didn't finish a task for today it is automatically moved to the next day.

Perfect Works just as I wished it should. :)

Decent app Beyond stupid widget (they want you to pay for). Stop being greedy, these apps take you all of a day to make and you think you should get several million dollars for them? Think again, my 7 year old kid could do better than most of these anyway.
