chompSMS’s design is great: it’s clean, uncluttered and provides users with lots of useful features.
SMS are displayed as speech bubbles, and conversations are shown as threads. A lot of messaging services have adopted this set-up, which – I believe – was made popular by iChat (correct me if I’m wrong, I pray you).
The overview displays conversation threads rather than individual messages, allowing for a quick and easy context-based search, rather than having to comb through each text individually.

It's really good but seems to crash sometimes Not much faster than the stock sms app ... n sometimes crashes randomly, although it recovers n re opens automatically right after crashing n continues receiving msges. Using on Samsung Galaxy S3.

Excellent SMS replacement. I have loved chomp ever since I first downloaded it. It's smooth and no ads whatsoever. Works like a charm. I definitely recommend this app for anyone who's tired of their stock messaging all.

I can't use in my dual sim phone when i send message, it use sim 1. why i can't use sim 2?? please fix it? thanks

Sooooo Happy I was so happy to find an app that allows ne to customize text noises for certain people that text me. The only thing that is a down side is if the person isnt in your contacts when using this they will always come up as their number. But very happy with this app overall

No fb pictures. Needs to be able to sync with fb profile pictures. Now all my contacts have no pictures.

Great, but Could do without the painfully slow slideshow situation. And why do some receive my longer messages broken up onto multiple bubbles & numbered? Plus, group messaging is not as good as Textra. My replies in the thread get received as individual private texts, not within the group thread. Frustrating.

I don't know why people wants to invent airplane again. Because most of the features are found in default messaging apps. Maybe all this is made for people who can't it won't use stock or pre-installed messaging apps and like to download something extra without finding out what features are inbuilt.
