The app is about 7.63 MB and the required permissions seem fine.
The gameplay is easy peasy lemon squeezy: different logos are displayed, ranging from corporate to TV shows, and you have to guess which company or brand a logo belongs to. There are 22 categories to choose from in total, including: internet, TV music, media, banks, sports, cars and airlines.
Be precise in your phrasing because otherwise the system may not recognise your answers. For instance, I punched in “Mozilla Firefox” and my answer was rejected until I changed it to simply “Firefox”.
Should you not be able to identify a logo just hit the help button.
The question is: can Ultimate Logo Quiz keep users entertained for more than a few minutes at a time? I'm on the fence... My personal user experience was that I was able to solve the internet category easily whereas I had to think more when attempting the industry category.
My main bone of contention with this app is that there's no social or sharing component. There's no way to compare scores with friends, although there is an option to compete against others via Swarm. But: I would love to see an integrated option for playing with and against friends. Having such an option would turn the app into a real parlour game.
Bottom line:
Ultimate Logo Quiz proved to be quite a lot of fun and I enjoyed playing it. That said, this is the type of game that will keep me happy for only a few minutes here and there.
Screen & Controls
The overall design of Ultimate Logo Quiz is well made. It feels nice and orderly and none of the elements are out of place.
An ad banner is displayed at the bottom of the display but it isn't intrusive (even though it is almost always there).
Controls are easy and self explanatory.
Speed & Stability
Ultimate Logo Quiz performed very nicely and without any issues related to speed or stability.
Price/Performance Ratio
Ultimate Logo Quiz is free and available from Google Play. Ad banners are displayed almost permanently throughout the game, but this didn't bother me much.
