Check out the intro video to get a good idea about what the game is all about and how to play it. Here's a quick synopsis of the narrative and gameplay:
Galaxy tourists have landed on Saturn and by doing so managed to mix up Saturn's rings. As a result, burning rocks are crashing down on to the little blue men's planet, causing their cities to burn. They've built a fire engine with which they're hoping to put out the fires—and it's your job to help them.
Change the angle of the fire truck hose to aim at burning houses and try to put out fires.
Levels differ somewhat: the fires in some houses have to be put out through holes in the ground, in others blocks have to be washed away before the water can reach the fire... Sprinkle is a puzzle game, but one that's quite diversified thanks to it's six chapters and 72 levels.
Two factors make the game challenging: time, because if you take too long putting out a fire the house will burn down, and a finite amount of water with which to fight fires.
In order to activate the next level a certain amount of water drops are required.
Sprinkle is fun to play, and it's the kind of game you can play for longer stretches of time as well as revisit regularly, thanks to the good variety and challenge factors.
The graphics are wonderful and really worth checking out.
Screen & Controls
Sprinkle really stands out graphically. Design-wise the game's physics are superb, especially everything related to water.
Controls are easy and smooth and players are guided into the gameplay and controls throughout the first few levels—a great way to learn how to play the game.
The game is tons of fun on a smartphone, and even more so on a tablet. This is where you can see just how awesome the graphics really are.
