First off follow a quick tutorial and set up a C.H.A.O.S user account and then head on over into the hangar from where you can select a helicopter. You will have to finance it with a $50 000 start-up capital.
Once you've acquired your first chopper you can start the training which is quite simple on the whole: tilt you device in order to make the chopper move forward or turn on its own axis. Use the control cross to change the height or tilt the chopper. There's also a gestures feature: swipe to the right to turn the chopper 180°; this feature is only available every so often.
The training session will also teach you how to effectively use weapons and adjust the settings to your liking.
The main aspect to the game is flying various missions. Each mission can be played in three difficulty levels. For instance, you may called to wipe out one of the enemy's buildings or defend yourself and your cause against hostile chopper air raids. When playing the “easy” level this is perfectly do-able (with a bit of practice), but presents a real challenge when attempting it in the more advanced levels.
To ensure victory you will have to invest the dough you've earned for successfully completed missions in new weapons and such. As soon as you have enough money you can also purchase a new helicopter. If ever you don't want to wait that long there is also an option of purchasing silver coins via in-app purchase which will route you to Google Play. 150 000 coins costs EUR 0.69. 10 000 000 coins cost EUR 39.42.
There is also nifty option for setting up more than one user within the app meaning several people can play their own missions on the same tablet.
A multiplayer mode is also available, both online and offline, and you can chat with your opponent during the game. If you opt for the online option you will randomly be added to a map with other players. Check the high score list (for both Android and iOS) to see how you're doing in comparison to the C.H.A.O.S champions.
Settings let you make all the usual adaptations including language and volume as well as sensitivity and various graphics configurations.
Bottom line:
C.H.A.O.S is a very well made game and lots of fun to play thanks to its missions and difficulty settings. The choppers can all be upgraded which keeps things exciting, and the multiplayer mode is always a welcome addition to any game.

The graphics in C.H.A.O.S are quite simply awesome and both the 3D optics and flight performance/trajectories are great.
What I'm not so partial to are the vibrate effects which flare up whenever you hit something, especially because they can't be switched off, unlike the sound effects.
The app is easy enough to use overall.

C.H.A.O.S takes a short while to load all of its maps and missions, but aside from the the app is smooth and stabile.

C.H.A.O.S is yours for EUR 0.49, but only for one week seeing as it's our app of the week until December 9th. After that it will go back to costing its regular price of EUR 0.79.
With that said, please bear in mind that the app is mainly supported by in-app purchases, meaning that you buy currency within the app with which you can then purchase new helicopters and armor. You will be routed to the Google Play Store from which you can purchase ad ons. Ad ons can not be purchase from the AndroidPIT App Center.

Very good Very good game. Well worth the $1.00 price. Small enough to keep on a galaxy tab 2 7" with 4gb. Asphalt7 is too big for me at over 1.5gb. Easy enough to earn upgrades
