Looking for an app

I'm trying to find out of there is an app that will keep programs from opening till I tell them too. all the preloaded software starts on my phone and seems to slow it down and I don't use most of it that often. I need a program to keep things from starting themselves.

I'm not sure of one, I think any app that is a "system tool" will almost always automatically start up at boot. What i do is use the advanced task killer free just after boot to shut down those apps. Hope that helps a bit.

There is an app called "juiceDefender" which is first class and the author is very helpful.
