my m8 has an iPhone and he has an app where he can access the files on his computer and stream any video from his pc through the I phone . he can do this from any place that has WiFi so he could be at the gym and watch a movie he has on his pc.

Ah, I did some more research and SlingPlayer/SlingBox isn't released yet, but should be some time this summer. Unfortunately, I think it will come with a subscription, and will work by transmitting files from a DVR over the internet, and not a PC. Sorry. I'll keep an eye out for similar apps. In the meantime, take a look at these:

Androrb or Homepipe are apps that let you stream music from your pc to your phone
and see your photos and files on your phone via wi-fi

there's Zumo Drive... It'll even let u choose the itunes playlists that u want to sync to.
