how do I find easyroot or z4root...or is there a better one click rooter out there

I rooted my HTC Hero with z4root without any problems or issues back in November. My phone has been running smoothly ever since. My reason for rooting my phone was to be able to take screenshots directly from my phone using apps like SnapIt!

I can't seem to locate z4root on the Market right now, but I have the original .apk if you need it.

yes that would be great...I found it on some websites but after dling it would just stay on a blue screen with a loading wheel

did you have that blue screen on your phone or on your computer?

when I was rooting my phone with z4phone, my screen froze after a couple of minutes. I thought the whole thing had messed up, but when I restarted my phone, I realized that my phone had actually been successfully rooted. So it might be a common glitch.
