can anyone show me how to root my g...ace phone. and what precautions tobe taken

According to other Galaxy Ace phone owners, the SuperOneClick rooting program effectively roots their phone. You can find a link to the rooting app here.
The program only works on Windows, though.
I don't know about any specific precautions with the Ace, although you should check out general rooting precautions in our Android beginner's rooting guide here.

Dear Sir,
Im new to the Android world. I have a Galaxy Ace that Im trying to root,
but it keeps giving me an error message when I use the SuperOneclick app.
When I select "apply sdcard:update.zip" on my phone it shows..
"E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip"
"(Status 2)"
"Installation aborted"
Can you please help
