Protecting my Galaxy S2 from Viruses when using as Hotspot with my laptop

If I have a firewall up on my laptop is that enough to protect my phone when Im using it as an access point or a hotspot? Or will I need to install other antivirus programs on the phone as well?

just don't use "1234" or "0000" as password on your hotspot ;)
