Streaming stops when screen is locked bug?!?

I just picked up a new desire and now when I listen to Youtube music or any streaming service the music dies whe n i lock the screen- With my old desire I could keep listing regardless of what the screen was doing... is there a work around for this? Or a setting I should try?
