MP3 As Ringtone?

Does anyone know how I could use an MP3 as a ringtone on my Samsung Galaxy S2? I'm confused as to how to do this?

It should be quite easy. Simply go to the music play on your phone and press and hole on the mp3 you want to set as your ringtone. Choose the option "set as" and then choose from one of the three options, including "phone ringtone," "caller ringtone," and "alarm tone."

Good advice. You can also download an app from the market called Ringdroid which'll help you cut your long mp3 song into a short ringtone.

Good tips, everyone. This process should be the same for most phones with Android 2.2 and above, not just the Galaxy S2.

Alternatively, you can also set your mp3 as a ringtone using this method.
