I sold my iPad and got myself the Toshiba Thrive. I wanted a tablet with an easy to replace batteryvand lots of inputs and this is the only one on the market that has that. I love the device and use it daily. What I like best is the ability to load any apps I purchased for my phone on it, same gmail account, so I can download and install without paying for the app twice like I was faced with when I had the iPad. Internal speakers are not so great and the battery does not last as long as the iPad. I charged the iPad once ever 4 days, I charge the Thrive daily but think I do use it more.
My Thrive is rooted and running the Honeycomb 3,2 OOM ROM.
The biggest dissapointment with this Tablet is Toshiba. They have yet to announce ICS support and the dev community is small, so not a lot of available ROMs are available. Still, I love this device and recommend it. Hopefully if more people get it then Toshiba's support will be there as will more community developers. If anyone knows of a good ICS image for the Thrive, please let me know.
