I am a windows 7 user and have been for yrs. I just purchased an Archos 10.1 Android tablet and am a novice.
So please exuse any newfi questions. Is it because Android is not a fully graphical user interface?
Why can I not find a file manager with a file delete function?
Thanks Hutch

There is! Just go to settings> application> manage apps and there you go! A File manager for Android!

there's a quite a few in the market(play store...), I've always used root explorer as it can access the internal file system, but there's several free apks that would suit you. search for 'explorer' in the market.
