The instructions for the App Center say... 1) Download 2) Release 3) Install. The instructions for "releasing" are to check a box to allow downloads from "unknown sources". The instructions to get to this box are... "You'll find this option on your phone under Settings/Applications and check "unknown sources" to activiate it."
There is no box to check under Settings/Applications. My phone shows "Manage applications", "Running services", Development", & "USB settings". And I searched within each of options and still found no such check box.
What gives??????
I have a Samsung Galaxy S with Firmware version 2.2, Kernel version 2.6.32.9, & build number FROYO.UCKB2
Thanks,
RKM.
Re-Posting -- Still unable to perform this. Looks like no one has an answer. Reckon I may have to switch to i-Phone.
