OMG ! $35k to develop this game ?

Hello !

I asked one Game dev agency to develop a game like Unicorn Dash ( goo.gl/O5JJr ) for andriod with some modifications. Staff replied that it will cost $35k , LOL 35,000 USD.

Is it true ? actually how much it will cost to build a game like this ?

It honestly depends on who you ask.

Outsourcing on a Freelance website to India, Bangladesh etc? Under $4k.

Asking a top-level development agency who specialise in making professional Apps for corporations? $35k+

A US/UK/EU developer with a small team? Probably $15k-$35k.

What I mean is, you can get it cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

Correct - I myself am from the UK, however by saying US/UK/EU I wanted to refer specifically to the UK, as a powerhouse for innovation and creation!

It is a little expensive but you have to have in mind that agencies charge about $50 per hour per developer, on this project you have to add the designer and the testing. How long have they said that it will take to do it?
