Android Developer Job Summary -
* Fulltime - Normal working hours
* Salary - £30,000 - £36,000 with excellent benefits
* Located in Cwmbran, South Wales
* Commutable from - Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend, Swansea, Bristol
Our client a leading IPTV business based in Cwmbran is currently looking to recruit a high level Android Developer to Design & Implement a new Media Player Client on the Android platform. We will be looking for you to produce high quality code and reproducible unitary tests as well as following internal software development quality standards and processes. Overall the candidate can be expected to Develop our new Android SDK product line, a software kit to enable our customers to build their own native based secure player.
Experience
*At least 2 years of Android platform development experience.
*Good knowledge of Java and C/C++
*Good knowledge of object oriented design and familiar with UML.
*Familiar with source and configuration management tools and concepts.
*Excellent analytical skills and pro-active.
*Ability to work in a fast evolving project environment.
*Good critical sense, objective and constructive, high level of commitment.
*Good communication skills to integrate a highly dynamic team.
*Experience in multimedia development and experience for media-player development is a plus.
*Knowledge/Experience in digital TV or IPTV systems is a plus.
*Knowledge/Experience using and developing around JNI is a plus.
