You can leave cats for days and go on vacation...they wouldn't even know you left...awesome!!

Dogs... german shepherds, specifically. Though I do see Kevin's point -- dogs are pretty high-maintenance!

I love dogs , and I had this best dog friend who had spent her whole life loved me , and she died 4 years ago. I miss her so much ,and I'll never have any other dogs cause she is the one .

Dogs. We currently have one (a bearded collie) and he really feels like a family member. Previously had 2 old english sheepdogs who were both fantastic personalities.

I think cats are harder to impress, so if it isn't friendly, you're just stuck with an unfriendly cat. But a dog will love anyone if you give them a treat.

But I think a friendly cat beats a dog.

That sure keeps your office security tighten !! I don't think that anyone will dare try to enter the office...:'( and at the same time I don't think there is any need of security guard. :D
