Samsung Galaxy Note 2 — please help update to an unlocked phone

Can someone please help? I use a galaxy note 2 its tmobile but it's unlocked for any company so I use it for at&t. I have an update for the phone, if I Update it will I still be able to use It for at&t? Or will I have to unlock it again? Please help & thank you in advance.

Hi Melissa

If your phone is unlocked to work for any network - you can update, root, flash roms or basically do anything you want, it wont affect your network unlock.
