Hello. I am trying to root my LG Optimus G. I am using the ZV9-ZVB-Root .bat. Whenever I follow the instructions listed here

the prompt just stays on "waiting for device, connect your LGOG via USB in charge only mode. When I do this, the prompt never changes. Now, I did some digging, and I noticed that 2 processes of abd.exe run. I thought this was fishy, so I tried killing one of them. This results in the prompt advancing, without the device actually being connected, and it kindof freaks out.
Help! Is there any way to fix this, or should I try a different method?
