The new Motorola Moto X smartphone was unveiled in August 1st and news, reviews, photos and apps have already flooded the internet. There is a new Motorola Migrate app, wallpapers and more to come.

They have not made any announcements for Europe but neither for any other countries around the world. If you think about it, and given that they had come up with a new brand for the phone and planning to spend $500m in marketing, it would be wierd if it stayed a US only phone...So lets see, it might be going global as well....

It could be like the Nexus 7 where you can't officially order it from abroad, but if you put in an address in the US which is sometimes offered by certain companies, the phone will first be sent there and then they will send it to you in Europe or elsewhere. There could be some problems with connectivity though....

And don't forget there's plenty of good reasons why the rumors abound that the Moto X could indeed be the foundation for the Google Nexus 5...so we may see the Moto X yet in Europe, albeit under a different name and better optimized for the Continent.
