can't download google play store

we have a trio machspeed tablet. they used their own app before and now use google play store. have tried downloading it with no luck. am I missing something? can it be downloaded? thanks gary

Try to go for this steps
1. Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store and select both Clear data and Clear cache.
2. Finally Uninstall updates.
3. Restart your device, open Google Play Store and try to download the app again.
