Hey guys!

If you check the Facebook app a bizillion times a day, you should consider our tips & tricks on how to improve your usage and experience overall:

1) Share your content on Facebook anywhere anytime
Take a picture and share it immediately to Facebook.
  • Gallery --> share icon --> Facebook

2) Clear the Cache regularly
Facebook's cache fills up at alarming rates. Therefore it's worth your while to clear it as much as you can to improve the overall performance of your app and your phone. If you clear data though, this will wipe your remembered username and password as well as saved settings, so you will have to enter these in again.

3) Show most recent news.
Instead of being bogged down with Top Stories, you want to be in the know of what is going right this very second.
  • In the pull out menu on the left in the Facebook App, there's a settings gear next to News Feed.
  • Tap on it and select Most Recent.

4) Be the boss of your notifications
Choose when they buzz, which LED light and other options for your notification.
  • Go to Settings--> Notifications settings --> and the sky is the limit for all you can adjust.

Do you have any other tips for the Facebook app?

Just a few more things I can add from my side:

  • In order to find a person on Facebook, it is enough to know his
mobile phone number. But if you don't want your phone number to be
tracked this way, change your privacy settings.
  • Setting the deactivation of the Viewed function in messages will help
you to leave your friends' messages unanswered. No one can reproach
you for not responding to notifications. They simply cannot prove
your guilt. To activate this option, you need to use a browser
extension. It disables the Viewed/Not Viewed status of messages in
the desktop version of Facebook. For the Chrome browser, this is
Facebook Unseen. For Firefox and Explorer, this is Chat Undetected.
The disadvantage of this setting: you will not be able to see the
    status of reading messages either.
  • The "invisible" status for "select" friends will help to hide your
online presence from them. To do this, you need to click on the gear
in the right column with the list of friends and select "Advanced
settings". Messages from a disabled chat are saved in the Inbox
folder, but, unlike the previous point, you cannot read them
    unnoticed.
