Not able to add the photos/images to the contact in What'sApp

I am using what's app on my Nexus4 device. I have an issue using the app.
I am not able to add the photos/images to the contact. I am always getting the Camera videos option.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a contact to send the message
2. Click on attachments, select Gallery.
3. First time you will see both tabs Images/Camera Videos.
4. Select Camera videos. Done.
5. Next time select another contact (or same contact) to send the message.
6. Click on attachments, select Gallery.
7. You will see only camera videos, (Images tab disappear!!!!!!).
Cannot add any images from this point. You add only Camera videos............

If uninstall the app and reinstall again, I see the both the tabs (Images/Camera Video) but follow above steps, same issue again......
