I have a GS3 and some time ago I saved a thread of text messages using the option in the phone by clicking the menu button then selecting "Save Messages". I now need to print these messages. The thread is saved on my SD card in an html format. Unfortunately, the html format is not really good because it obviously translates things like date and time into a code that I don't understand. I downloaded the SMS Backup and Restore App and was unsuccessful restoring the previously saved thread. It actually shows it as an invalid file. My questions are:
1. How do I get these messages back into a thread form that shows the date and time the messages were sent/received?
2. If I can't do number 1, can anyone decipher the date and time code in the html format?
Thanks in advance for any help. I have a court date on Wednesday and these messages are integral , so time is definitely of the essence
