Give me back good old 'sda1'

I fiddled with something on my tablet - 4.4.2 - and the partitions on The Meenova USB device - sda1, etc - now show up as 'D75E-576-F1E', etc. How do I get back to the other representation, please?

Haa... Haa seems like you have messed up with your !! Well I would say in this case you should factory reset your device. :unsure:

Do you have any idea what you 'fiddled' with? If there's been no content loss then it looks like your tablet has changed how it reads the card. The quickest solution would be to copy the contents to your pc, format the sd card, re-partition it and then copy the info back.

Well spotted, John! Alas, if I could recall - age is eating away at my memory - what I had fiddled with I wouldn't be making this plea for help! What was missing from the end of you're first sentence - after the word 'your'? Maybe your technical knowledge of the Settings menu or conf, etc files might fill the widening gap in mine...

Sinkster, I'm trying to avoid avoid that row as my tab is a sdcard-free Nexus.
