Google Nexus 5 — How to backup files on Nexus 5

Backing up your data on any smartphone is highly recommend, you never know if you will lose it, damage it or have it stolen.
It's quite simple to back up the Nexus 5:

Go to your Settings
Select Backup & Restore
Select Back up my data
Ensure that you enter a Gmail account so taht you don't lose app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and other types of settings.
This data will then appear on the next phone you have as long as you enter the same Gmail account during setup.
