The shortcut for camera app on the lock screen is a total waste if you are using a security pin or pattern. Why not make it available when using a secure login?

I think if they have did that there might be some security flaw left behind as we don't want the our device to be unlock by some others just by using a simple trick

Good point John, how many people do you know that don't use a secure login? Only users that is is not worried about security will benefit from this, not many I think.

I imagine the plan is to take it the same way as the stock Android lockscreen camera shortcut, where you can access the camera without a password/PIN/pattern but anything else requires the security be dealt with first.
But yeah, until that is sorted out it's kinda useless.
