dual sim

Well, first of all congratzz for your new phone, as fas as your question is concerned I think that depends there are dual sim devices in the market which is very expensive and yes there are also devices that cost minimum. I think as you have bought yourself a new device means purchase 2 sim cards what are you waiting for ?

You don't need to use 2 sim cards if you don't need to, if that's what you're asking. If you feel the need then it depends how you want to use the two services, i.e. do you need two phone numbers in general, or do you want the best bits from independent carriers such as one sim with a cheap call/text package and one with better value internet or international calls. Obviously any sim you use will need to be provisioned and kept active, either through a contract or PAYG top-up.
