My 14 year old grandson did a reset on my new phone.. Without asking not sure why..Needless to say I didn't have it backed up... Well all of my software isn't there now... I waited so long for this phone... I honestly don't know what to do...

Well, @Donna could get your question actually ! Are you talking about application installed over your device or your personal data like images... etc ! if you're talking about application then I don't think that there is any need to think much about as you put your gmail ID i.e. used previously over the device most of the application will start downloading automatically but if you are seeking answer over backing up images or videos try reading over this post, "How to recover lost data?".
