Samsung Galaxy Y — How to increase internal memory on Samsung galaxy y

We all know Samsung galaxy y comes with 190 MB internal memory and support up to 32 GB external memory but if you need more applications to be installed on phone a time comes when you get message no more space because some application can only be installed to internal memory:

Note :

• Rooted Phone Required in both procedure {How to root your Galaxy Y GT
  S5360 with update.zip file }

• Backup your SD card otherwise you will lost your all data form SD
  card.

Download Links:

• CWM.ZIP[search in google]

• [LINK2sd.apk][4]

Installation:

1. Download the files given and move to sdcard. Install link2sd
2. Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing Volume up +Home button +Power
   button.
3. Select apply update from sd card...
4. Select CWM.ZIP and go to advanced on CWM and select partition on
   advanced.
5. Select anything upto 1 gb it's your choice .this wil go in
   internal memory..
6. On next step select 0 mb.
7. Then go back to main menu of CWM and select reboot system...
8. After reboot your phone Open Link2sd and then select "ext3"
9. Then reboot
10. after rebooting go to main menu go to link2sd open it go to
    setting and check everything to auto-link.

Congratulation now you have extra space to install app.

but the system shows only 190mb .why?

First of all thanks a lot for sharing such an useful post. I have tried this process but It is not working properly. You have told that I can choose anything between 1 GB but it is not working with my device.What is the problem?

Think before go to rooting because if you did not rooted well then maybe you loss your phone. you lost your phone waranty also.

Well there is a problem my 16GB SD Card became 11GB SD Card tnx man for helping me how to decrease a memory in SD Card 😈😈

My sd card memory decreased and Im really pissed. All I want is to increase my internal memory and now, even my sd card became my problem. And its fucking new! 😂😂😡

To increase internal memory on Samsung galaxy y, we can delete unwanted data from it by using pro android data cleaner program.
