Google Nexus 5 — Has Google redrawn 5.0 OTA for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013)?

I have had 5.0 OTA notification for my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) for quite a few weeks. But I decided to wait a bit longer because of some serious bugs people had reported. In the last week, I realized the ota notification disappeared for both devices. Has google redrawn 5.0 OTA because 5.0.1 OTA is about to come soon? Do I need to have 5.0 before I can get 5.0.1 OTA?

This tallies with my experience.
I am upgrading a new nexus 5 device from 4.4.2 and got stuck at 4.4.4.

I can only assume that you need to pass through 5.0 and this has been taken down until there is a destination version that google are confident in. I'm guessing that 5.0.1 is not it.

Thanks for the sharing. In a way, it's good to know that I am not the only one experiencing this but of course, we are not very happy about it. So I heard 5.0.2 might be coming but probably not for nexus 5 devices. The wait keeps on going for us:( .

Updating to 5.0.1 will give you 5.0. The 3rd number is what Google uses for minor revisions and are likely to only contain bug fixes.
