HTC One — device management

I have a message that is dispaying on my phone that says "device management is running". This has never happened before. How do I get rid of it? Have had all sorts of problems with recent htc updates leaving files on my phone which have disrupted battery life, etc. Reboot, etc didnt work. Live chats with htc have not fixed the problem and they don't have a clue. Any ideas?

Device Management is not an issue. If your mobile has any mobile device management app, now your mobile protect from unwanted threads and virus attacks.
