Samsung Galaxy S4 — Data problems when roaming on sim card

My Galaxy S4 has stopped allowing web access when using the sim card.

All is fine on wireless, and when on the sim card I can use text messages and make and receive calls.

However I can't access the internet.

When I go to settings/more networks/mobile networks//access point names and press '+', there's an error message saying 'Settings has stopped'.

I've tried restarting several times.

I don't want to do a factory reset as the recommended backup has issues with Subway Surfers and we don't want to lose 18 months worth of scores.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

check ur network mode.. if its on network auto detection..
try to set network provider manually each time.. may b ur provlem is coming bcz u r roaming and ur sim is trying to locate a network ..

if above fails.. try to clean the cache memory.. check guides on how to clean it. its not a firmware reset
