Samsung Galaxy S5 — Galaxy s5 Android Lollipop Update Issues

I have recently updated to lollipop on my S5 and i am having trouble with the lock screen. Previously i could see notification icons on my notification bar and texts while in the lock screen and now I have updated I can no longer view them before unlocking my phone. Also while playing music, I can no longer pause, play, skip, rewind or change where abouts I am in the song from the lock screen which is proving very annoying. Is it just my phone that is having this problem or is it every S5 on lollipop? If anyone has any advice or help on how to change this please tell me.

Same this side. They've removed that functionality from this upgrade. Eff knows why. I'm really really not loving lollipop. In fact, I hate it. Might be rolling back to KitKat.

It drove me mad to the point of wanting to smash my phone hahahahha. Switched back last night

Same for me. But i have another problem: altough i upgraded to 5.0 the wallpapers are still the old ones from kitkat. Anyone with the same problem??
