So the Samsung Galaxy Prevail LTE (aka Samsung Galaxy Core Prime) has been on the market for almost 3 months now, and I've yet to find any applications or methods to root this device.
Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong places?
So far I've tried the following:
-iRooot (formerly vRoot)
-Kingo
-TowelRoot
-OneClickRoot
-SRSroot
-Framaroot
Also I've tried to root via the ADB push method to load busybox and su. However, hooking the Android up to a machine running Ubuntu and launching Nautilus, I'm unable to see or browse the directories on the device.
So does anyone have any recommendations or know of any apps or methods that might work?

), but unfortunately nothing worked. It all failed but I really want to root her device as a b-day gift.. hahaha.. I didn't gave up till I reached rooting-android.com site, and decided to give to them all the hard work to be able to root her device and they are able to root it successfully in real time, I'm really happy with the result as well as my friend, maybe you can give it a try then?
