Google Nexus 5 — What should I do?

my Nexus 5 froze on the home screen. Right now, it's just stuck in a state where the screen is dimly lit and won't turn off. I tried to power it off by holding down the sleep/wake button, but it isn't working. Any way to force it to power off or hard reset? Or am I stuck waiting for the battery to run out? please help me. i don't what to do with my phone :(

Hold down the power button and volume down button for 10 seconds or so, until you get the bootloader screen. Select reboot using the volume keys, press the power button to reboot.
